Blog #9 If I Had a $100!

Hey if I had $100 I would by five ethical gifts from Plan Canada but there is 3 other organizations to they are Oxfam, world, salvation army. my first gift I would buy is a two mango trees for $12. The reason I would buy the two mango tree is because it would last for a long time and you can get lots of food from it to! My next girt i would buy is 3 baby chicks for $15. The reason i would by 3 baby chicks is because, they could get lots and lots of eggs from the chicks or you could get meat from it! I would also buy a warm blanket for $10. The reason for this is so they can be warm during the night. My 4th thing i will buy is emergency  water so if they need it they will have it. The last thing i would get is another mango tree so they can have even more food! All of this stuff equals up to $99. That is every thing i would buy if I had $100 for Ethical Gifts!

Posess the oldest one means. Well I think in a poem that means

opinion is the best.

but keep it very less.

It's better to keep your peers.

Then to deal with many tears. That is a poem i made up of what i think the first poem means

The Saxophone!

Hey it is me again. I am doing a post on the Saxophone!The Saxophone is in the Woodwinds family. The saxophone makes a lower pitch sound.It was invented by:Adolphe Sax in his fathers shop he was born in 1814 in Belgium. That is cool i think! The clef the saxophone is on is the trouble clef. how you make a sound with it is by position your lip as if saying oh. secondly you cover the bottom teeth with your lower lip. 3rd step place the mouthpiece in your mouth to were the reed and the mouthpiece touch. Rest your top teeth directly on the mouthpiece. close your mouth in a draw sting fashion with equal presser on all sides on the reed. your chin should be flat and pointed. step 5 the final step take a full breath of air and play a long steady tone. The way to  sterilize a mouthpiece is soap and dry it off. All the parts of the Saxophone are the neck cork,bell,bow,body, neck, octave pin, keys, key guard, mouthpiece,ligature, neck screw and octave key!

After you are done playing you have to take it apart clean it out and put it in the case carefully.

Moisten your reed. You only really need to put the thin side in your mouth, but moistening both ends will stop the reed from warping

Put the neck strap around your neck. Make sure the hook is hanging at the front.Line it up. Take the reed out of your mouth and place its flat side on the flat part of the mouthpiece. The thin, curved end of the reed should line up with the thin end of the mouthpiece.

   Slide the ligature onto the mouthpiece and over the reed. Make sure that the wider end of the ligature slides on first to match the shape of the mouthpiece. The screws should be on the thick bottom part of the reed, facing you. Tighten the ligature.

   Put the fully assembled mouthpiece on the neck. If it's difficult to slide on, do not add cork grease. This a problem amongst beginners, the grease will act as glue and make small particles stick to it and when the neck goes on the body and the neck is twisted, the particles may act like sand paper and do more damage. The best way is to use a bit of tissue and clean both contact points until they are dry and dust free. The neck should go on very easily.

   Pick up your saxophone by the bell, where there are no keys. Picking up your horn by the upper body can cause damage to the mechanisms that make your horn work properly.

   Attach the neck and mouthpiece to the saxophone body and tighten the wing nut where the two parts join.
   • Do not force the neck on and be careful to not damage the octave key (on body or neck) when assembling.

   Hook the neck strap into the small loop on the back of the saxophone's body. That is my saxophone! post thank you for reading!  

The Golden rule.

Hey it is me again for the 5th time! This time I am talking about The Golden rule. The message of the Golden Rule is to treat people good and well like you would want to be treated.On the Golden Rule poster.My favourite saying was the Buddhism statement it said treat not others in ways that you yourself would find hurt full The Golden Rule Poster is just a little link i put there for You! If everyone follow the golden rule it would be grate the world would have no bully's or mean people. A song that expresses the same idea as the golden rule is don't laugh at me it talks about not to bully people for no reason. That is why I encourage every one to follow The Golden Rule!

Before I started this assignment, I thought my name was pointless, because I thought it did not mean any thing.
I think my parents chose this name for me because It was common.

,I learned that my name means hill cover with broom
Some other interesting things I learned are That my name was most popular in 2009!Also that it is said like (Bran dun) I think my name does  suit me because other people with my name is kind of like me some how.

If I could give myself a new name, it would be chad, because I really like it.I make it my name in all of my video games! 

discrimeanation and tolerance

Well first of all i will talk about what tolerance. Tolerance is putting up with something for example if some one is bugging you how long can you tolerate that person doing the thing you don't like. Being able to tolerate some things really long can be a good thing. So if i put it in a shorter form tolerance is tolerating differences with another person or thing in the world around you. So tolerance is a virtue.Next I will talk to you about discrimination. Discrimination is treating someone differently because they are different. Like treating someone different because they are a different skin colour then you  or maybe because of your gender. It is not good too treat some one different or wrong just for who they are. they are just being them self's. So don't treat some one different just for how they are. Try  tolerate some thing or some one as much as you can too. Comment on my post as much as you want thank you for reading this!

Welcome. I am really pumped to be talking to you guys and girls in Ottawa. My name is Brandon R. I like pizza and apples...I could be able to eat them all the time! I also really like video games.
